Alive in Spectrum

“Color at full volume: unapologetic, undiluted, completely alive.”

Alive in Spectrum is JB's most openly joyful body of work, a collection that refuses the quiet. Here the palette operates without constraint: magenta against chartreuse, cobalt against flame, violet holding its own against gold. These works do not build toward saturation; they begin there. The compositional logic shifts from work to work but the chromatic commitment stays absolute. If JB's other series approach color as a formal problem to be solved, Alive in Spectrum treats it as an end in itself. The result is a body of work that is genuinely difficult to walk past.
