Calm does not announce itself. It settles. This collection proceeds from the premise that restraint is its own formal ambition. The works here operate in low-contrast palettes, soft greys, warm linens, and muted blues, held together by compositions that ask nothing urgent of the viewer. JB's process in this series is one of deliberate subtraction: removing every element that competes for attention until what remains is a surface that simply holds. These are works for rooms that understand silence as an acoustic condition worth cultivating.
