Chronosynthesis is built on an impossible premise: the collapse of time into a single image. Each work in the series layers visual references across different historical and technological registers, cave-painting texture beside digital grid, antique cartographic detail beside contemporary abstraction. The result is not collage but synthesis: a surface where different eras coexist without hierarchy. JB's interest here is in what survives across periods of radical change, the formal preoccupations that return regardless of medium or moment. Chronosynthesis is the studio's most historically ambitious series, and also its most visually dense.
