“The first transmission: cyan light, chrome structure, a face assembles.”
Series 1 is where the Circuit Splendor vocabulary announces itself. The inaugural chapter establishes the fundamental visual proposition: a human portrait assembled from circuit-board geometry, rendered in the saturated palette of the urban nightscape. JB's compositional approach here is frontal and symmetrical, giving the android subject an authority that reads as portraiture before it reads as technology. The mosaic fragments are large and legible at this early stage, the formal language clear. What the series will build toward in complexity and density begins here as a statement of intent.
