“Portraiture stripped to frequency. What remains when flesh becomes light.”
Series 11 tilts toward the spectral. After the dense saturation of the preceding chapter, this installment opens the palette toward lighter, more luminous frequencies: pale aqua, silver-white, and the electric glow of ultraviolet at the margins. The android portrait dematerializes slightly, the mosaic fragments separating at their edges to let ground show through. JB uses this tonal shift to explore a different register of the android subject, not power or precision but something approaching transparency. The result reads as the most ethereal entry in the series to date.
