Joy Jambobot exists at the intersection of music and motion. This robot character moves through every composition as though responding to a beat only it can hear, limbs in mid-gesture, posture loose and kinetic. JB captures the quality of musicality through line and rhythm in the illustration: repeated forms that suggest tempo, color shifts that read as dynamics. The palette runs warm and celebratory, pinks, golds, and electric greens, consistent with a character whose defining characteristic is irrepressible joyfulness.
