Synthetic Visionary is the most philosophically ambitious series in JB's tech-oriented body of work. These paintings depict figures or entities that possess a perceptual range beyond the human, their vision extended across spectra unavailable to biological eyes. JB renders this expanded perception through data visualization motifs overlaid on portraiture: heat maps, frequency graphs, and signal-detection patterns that read simultaneously as decoration and as the actual content of an inhuman gaze. The palette runs to deep navy and metallic silver, cold and precise. These are works that make human perception feel like a limitation rather than a given.
