Synthosis

“Geometry and intuition arrive at the same place from opposite directions.”

Synthosis extends the formal inquiry of Abstract Synthesis into more dynamic compositional territory. Where the parent series favors equilibrium and restraint, Synthosis introduces tension and directional energy: forms that press against the canvas edges, color relationships held at higher contrast, geometries that suggest motion rather than resolution. JB uses this series to test where the abstract vocabulary breaks under pressure and what emerges when it does. The results are paintings that feel more urgent than the studio's other abstract work, without abandoning the formal rigor that defines it.
