“Form mutates at the speed of code. Nothing stays what it was.”
TechMorphia is JB's central investigation into the aesthetics of technological transformation. These works do not depict technology as a stable subject; they depict it in the act of becoming something else. Figures, architectures, and objects are caught mid-transformation, their surfaces simultaneously organic and synthetic, their forms resolving and dissolving. JB's palette here oscillates between warm biological tones and cold digital frequencies, the temperature shift itself marking the threshold of change. TechMorphia is the series most concerned with the present tense, with what is happening now rather than what has arrived or what is coming.
