Chronosynthesis is built on an impossible premise: the collapse of time into a single image. Each work in the series layers visual references across different historical and technological registers, cave-painting texture beside digital grid, antique cartographic detail beside contemporary abstraction. The result is not collage but synthesis: a surface where different eras coexist without hierarchy. JB's interest here is in what survives across periods of radical change, the formal preoccupations that return regardless of medium or moment.
